Good evening. Hope you are having a good week thus far. My week has gone fairly busy at work since it is month-end for March. Church was good again last weekend as the pastor spoke on how the Word is all sufficient for all our needs (see 2 Cor 12:9). Oh wait, that verse says 'My grace is sufficient for you...'. Well, it is sufficient for us. I loved the song choice too as I loved all the songs we sang!!! There was an opportunity to share a favorite verse or a verse that was on your heart, and a few people spoke up. This will shock you...I was one of those people. Yes, I stood up and read John 6:33-35. I felt it was on my heart to say so I got up and said it! It can be powerful when you hear the Word being read and spoken!! Also, in my Mexico meeting beforehand, we were talking about our life stories and I had mentioned how, in mine, I start out with feeding the ducks with my grandpa, and if you read that passage in John 6, it says that Jesus is the 'Bread of Life'. We also had a good time in Mosaic where we talked more about the group and going over the Scripture from service.
Earlier that day (Saturday), I got to spend some time with my niece which I don't get to do too often when it's just her and I. I had to get my snow tires off since that was the last day you could have them on. We went to Wendy's for lunch, and then back to Schwab's and she read in her book as I worked on my story for the meeting. My car got done sooner than expected so I took her to Starbucks. We picked up Care on the way to church, then I went off to my meeting.
Bible study was good last night as it always is. The word study was quite amazing as it was a 'mystery' looking up those NT verses. I think it clicked for a lot of us that we only have like four weeks left of it this year. Care and I spent some time afterwards, getting a bite to eat and stopping at the store. It's always good when friends can spend some time together.
