Yes, that's right. I saw two ducks this morning when I got to work. One was sitting under a coworker's car, and the mallard was standing about in the middle of the parking lot. I'm not kidding! I don't know how or why they got their in the first place, but I hope that they got back to where they belong.
This last week has been a busy but good week. The weekend was filled with such things as going to respite night at church, bowling, basketball, church, Mexico meeting, fellowship, and more fellowship. It was a little weird being at respite at church since it had been a while since I had gone. It was good though to be back. Afterwards, I got invited to go cosmic bowling with three brothers in Christ. We got three games in...my first one I scored 86, second game I scored 85 and the third game I topped it off with a 104. It was very fun! Saturday morning I went to my niece's basketball game where her team won 36-18. In the afternoon, I went to my Mexico meeting where, for part of it, we played a game where we had to trust the other to guide us as one of us was blindfolded. Church was good as always and then Carrie lead our group in Mosaic. I thought she did a very good job. I lead the prayer time then we went out to Red Robin (or Blue Bird as one may call it). Sunday I did some work around the house then Carrie and I got together in the mid-afternoon and had some nice chick time.
Oh, and I heard Sunday that my friend, Heather, had had her baby on Saturday. Hoorah!
